Boy it has been a very busy couple of months for CW and especially for myself. First off, thank  you everybody who has supported and helped me along the way these past 3~4 years while completing my master’s degree. Thanks for your understanding and patience during these busy times.

Next, the e-fed itself. First I want to explain more why we went back to the bspeak board from going back to the network54 board lol. Transitioning from a board you used that housed the bulk of your game play is not an easy task. It is also extremely risky because this game play requires an threaded format- and most modern boards are not threaded format =/ (trust me I researched and hunted down/tried dozens looking for one). But the need to expand and the need to provide something unique and oh-my-gosh different (*hint*to our so-called competitors*endhint*) was the reason why wanted a different type of board but at the same time provided the threaded format.

The CW role-playing suffered somewhat from the bpseak’s format which was why we went back to the network54 for little over a year until we reached the 10th anniversary. That was reason #1. Reason #2 was that I wanted to end the network54 board on a good note and reaching a decade was a very good reason!!! During our time on the last years of network54, me and Charon along with players (past and present), produced the best compelling and consistent stories that this sport has ever since in years. In fact, I believe that the stories produced between me and Charon dwarfed most stories that was completed in the CWE days. And that is mind blowing.

We had a small roster and we did the very best for what was given to us and we took it to the extra mile and beyond producing quality stories. However, the need for expansion is what brought us back to the bspeak board along with the fact that actually paying money on a monthly basis for a board that hasn’t been updated in over 7 years really doesn’t make any sense.

So the bspeak board was brought and revamped which was the most ambitious project CW E-Fed has ever undertaken. With the new board, comes new focuses and let’s talk about them next!!

Storylines Thus Far

The aftermath of the Virus/Sincentius Saga- which hands down was the longest, strongest and most developed story in the history of this sport- brought forth a new story which takes us back to the bizarre universe of Neo-Earth, Lilith, Charon and her kids. At the end of the Virus Saga, Crimson was abducted by pre-Eva Machines commanded by Drkside (a hired mercenary by F’ein Dacor). Afterward, Charon went well… nuttier than usual to put it mildly… into finding her daughter. The first clue was that the Scientists were robbing banks but was it coincidence that they happen to rob the same bank that Charon visits regularly? This eludes to the fact that EVA Corp has a base of operations here on Earth but where and how?

Furthermore, Charon’s dormant nanobots…. the same nanobots that were injected into her body by the first Evangelion (Markus)…. re-activated upon the presence of the Scientists and pre-eva models. What could this all mean? Eventually, Charon meet up with F’ein and offered herself to become the next Eva… in exchange for Crimson’s safe return. But we all knew that F’ein would never live up to his side of the deal…. and sure enough, not only was Charon “acquired” but Crimson was used in extensive Limelight experiments.

In the meantime, Drkside has done what he has to distract Moebius, Darkspade and Brandon from uncovering the truth and to prevent them from rescuing anybody. But what Drkside and F’ein did not know was that our heroes came across a key that could lead them directly into Neo-Earth………………………….. Gunther’s mullet? O_________o

But as the tale unfolds, even more mysteries develop. Even with direct control over Charon- F’ein is not the only one with influence. In one scene, Charon was visited by a man who only exists in her mind and created by the nanobots. This ghostly figure has already directed Charon to freedom in Neo-Earth but on the other hand, Crimson has shown to possess the same ability as well to appear in Charon’s mind. What does this odd connection mean?

And then finally, you cannot forget about the power struggle for the control over CW. Richard and Seer has overtook the administration but the NSA partnership has created a barrier- so far- preventing mass control. Chane McMahon has acted both as a General DP but as a liaison for the top NSA executives. And at the top of the list of execs is a mysterious identity calling him or herself as Reverend Jones.

Chane delivered a memo for Charon explaining that it would be in the best interests for all if they worked together. The deal was to help acquire enough shares to dethrone Richard and Seer… in return, Moebius is reinstated with the exception that the Presidency is held by a NSA Executive. With Charon gone, Moebius, Spade and Brandon are in the hot seat instead. Will they agree to help the NSA? and now that they know the NSA is far more than a broadcasting company….. who exactly are they?

These are just but a handful of stories that are being played out! Not to mention the side-stories, feuds and challenges that occur at each and every event. With July approaching, and the climax of the summer imminent… what else will happen in the federation which started it all and leads the way? I know for one, I am very exctiting to see what happens next! I cannot wait!
